Infrared Illuminators

Infrared illumination is a popular and sometimes inexpensive method for performing night vision. In this method, a device that is sensitive to invisible near-infrared radiation is used in conjunction with a near-infrared illuminator. The non-visible illumination augments otherwise dark video scenes to produce images having reasonable image quality.
